Seneca Polytechnic (formerly Seneca College) is one of Canada's largest and best-known polytechnic institutions, founded in 1967 and serving the Greater Toronto Area from campuses at Newnham (North York), Seneca@York, King City, Markham and downtown Toronto. It adopted the polytechnic designation in 2023 to reflect its full range of credentials, from certificates and diplomas to four-year honours degrees and graduate certificates.
Seneca offers more than 140 full-time programs in business, information technology, engineering technology, creative arts and animation, aviation, health and community services — many with co-op or work-integrated learning. Its aviation degree operates a real flight training fleet, and its animation and creative-arts graduates work at major studios worldwide.
